HOW DOES THE PICOPLUS® LASER WORK?
The PicoPlus® laser has Dual Treatment Mode which combines nanosecond and picosecond wavelengths to treat tattoo ink and pigmentation conditions in fewer treatment sessions than single picosecond wavelength devices. The powerful pulses shatter the ink in a tattoo, so the microscopic particles left behind can be eliminated by the body metabolic system. In treating hyperpigmentation or brown spots, the laser targets the melanin to remove the blemish. The laser has the precision to target the ink or melanin without damaging the surrounding skin or tissue. This ensures a successful result with less downtime, less thermal effect and less painful with minimal side effects on Asian skin type.
